*Interested in all of the above areas, for purposes of data analysis. Specifically interested in the evolution of the light curves from one eclipse to the next, starting with the eclipse of 1847-48.

Background is dynamical astronomy and astrodynamics, i.e., modeling the motions of major and minor solar system bodies, interplanetary space probes, and artificial Earth satellites.

- I have some expertise in scientific German. This is why I offered to translate the two articles by Ludendorff in Astronomische Nachrichten, 1904 and 1912.

- I have two telescopes (an 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector and a 6" Newtonian reflector), but I do not operate an observatory.

- I have a number of computers and tools for analysis (Mathcad, Scientific WorkPlace, compilers for Fortran, Pascal, and C/C++). My webpage at http://www.astroger.com describes my principal professional activities.
