Prescott
National Forest Lifts Fire Restrictions
July 28, 2005
PRESCOTT Ariz-- Due
to recent rainfall, fire officials on the Prescott National Forest will
lift fire restrictions on Friday, July 29 at 8 a.m.
Considerable improvement
in conditions on the forest over the last several days including higher
humidity and up to two inches of rain in some areas have allowed officials
to lift current fire restrictions.
Campfires, stove
fires, charcoal fires and smoking will be allowed on all Prescott National
Forest land. Forest officials urge visitors to use caution with all campfires.
Do not leave your campfire unattended and ensure your fire is completely
out before leaving.
