Photometry requires a detector that produces a linear output over the range of the reported ADU counts. The DSI Pro is linear from 0 to 65,535 counts when the Gain and Offset are left at their default 100 and 50 settings respective. Unless there is a very good reason to change those settings they should be left at default.

As a test the DSI Pro was tested with constant light source and varying exposure times to produce data for a plot of ADU Counts versus exposure time.
